Part-time IELTS Preparation Townsville Only The part-time IELTS Preparation course is suitable for people who are sitting either the General or Academic Module, wishing to gain the IELTS score they need for entry into University, Vocational Education and Training/TAFE or for migration and/or accreditation purposes. |
The course focuses on developing the strategies needed to confidently sit the exam in all of the four language skill areas: listening, reading, writing and speaking. In addition, exam practice is included throughout the course. As this is a short course for exam preparation, it is recommended that students have a sound working knowledge of English before they commence the course, equivalent to an IELTS 4 or similar, to gain maximum benefit from the classes. For those needing more language input, we recommend attending our General English courses prior to commencing an IELTS Preparation Course. Please speak to the Assistant Director of Studies for assistance in choosing the right program for your needs. Students can choose to enrol for the full course or for individual modules, according to your specific requirements. Courses run either on weekday evenings or on Saturdays and are subject to numbers.
